So, I found a few interesting ISO-files in the Steam Workshop and wanted it. For example, the Warthog from Halo, and Mako from Mass Effect (see screenshots). Theoretically there are 2 ways for downloading of these files from the Steam Workshop. In practice, both methods don't work.

1. Theoretically, you can subscribe to the file in the Steam client and it will automatically downloaded (immediately or after starting the game).

In practice, the file is really downloaded, but the game "do not sees" it. Downloaded files are in my folder "Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\237870", where they are in separate folders with numeric names, and the file has the extension *.bin. For example:
“Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\237870\270835610\3260918645323496361_legacy.bin”

But the game could not see it, not converts it and not adds it to the list of ISO files. When I go to the game, I can't find the new ISO file. And this *.bin file is not an ISO file, also it is not an archive file (that is, I can't to unpack it and put to the folder for the ISO files manually, for example). Thus, this method does not work. :-\

2. Theoretically, you can use the in-game Steam Workshop client in the multiplayer mode. This is quite convenient: the ISO files are downloaded instantly in one click right to the folder "\Documents\PlanetExplorers\VoxelCreationData\Isos\Download", and you can immediately open it in the editor. It really works… ;D  But not in this case. :o

The fact is that these concerned files are simply missing when you use in-game Steam Workshop client. And many other files too. Yeah, that's what it is. These files exist in Steam, but if you try to find it using in-game client, you lose.

Thus, this method also does not work.  >:(

This is because some of the ISOs in Steam page are from old version, which are not compatible with the new version. That's why you can't find them in MP Workshop.

Thanks for the answer. It is a pity that there is no mechanism for converting of old ISO files.
