There are a lot of people having issues with readability of the font, and I think it may just have something to do with the current font not being very resize friendly.. Different resolutions, or distances from the font make it exceedingly difficult to read, as the font doesn't seem to scale solidly.. I think it really is just the thin style it uses... I think choosing a thicker font might resolve this issue..?

Lumi - perhaps you or somebody else could post some shots of the issue they're seeing.

I was running 1920x1200 for most builds and now 2560x1440 (changed display) on my Mac without difficulties. Might be a bug/issue with the Windows builds.

I have practically impossible to read text in the in-game options screen (for example the graphics options screen) running at 1920x1080 on Arch Linux x64.

Here is the options screen in the main menu which is mostly legible.

And here is the options screen in game which is not legible.

They was supposed to be working on scalable UI, but for now that font is single pixel.  If it is not then you have a scaling problem  Either your game resolution does not match your monitors resolution, or your video card driver is configured for full screen antialiasing - both of these will smear single pixel text.

Personally I play the game at 720P even though the TV is 1080P for much more readable text and fps.

Wow, yeah. That's pretty ugly!

That's a lot worse than the Mac version.

Enable antialising. Huge difference.

Same settings but with AA enabled:

I guess my case was worse. Screen without AA

I do not mean AA in the game settings, it needs to be your video card settings.   The game is smart enough to run AA on the scene before overlaying the GUI, but FSAA in your video card by definition smears whatever is on screen.

I think we can rule out monitor resolution being different since it shows up in screenshots.

I have my nVidia settings to not use AA for the system so it shouldn't be affecting the game :s

What is your resolution, maybe it is uncommon and the game is internally rescaling UI rather than rendering directly?  That is what the scalable UI was supposed to fix, seems all we got was window positioning?

I run the game at 1920x1080 in fullscreen mode. The Dell ST2320L is the monitor I ran the game on (my primary monitor) and it's running its native resolution of 1920x1080. The Dell P2414H is in portrait/vertical mode and is set to its native resolution of 1080x1920 (for portrait mode).
