In story mode they talk about the ship able to take up to 10-C.  What is 10-C?

in psychics C is the constant for the speed of light in a vacuum ...... and they say the Epiphany can take a hit from something traveling at 10% C, not 10C..... so an object traveling 29,979,245.8 meters per second  :o

Oh you mean 10% the speed of light then. Great thanks.

Just one problem.  Is this planet is roughly  11 light years away and they have been asleep for 22 years.  That would make it safe to say that they were travelling around 50% the speed of light.

Granted that while they were not moving that fast when they tried to land.  What would have happened if something did run into them during the trip over?

Hmm... that would depend on what would have been destroyed... but probably they would die.
The question should be what did they hit/what hit them on the way down to the planet. Looked like a golden cross... more like a space station... maybe a mine?

They probably had some anti-collision system to avoid larger asteroids and the smaller objects would be just be overrun. Also most objects should be concentrated in solar systems with lots of almost empty space between them, so maybe it's 1-2 years at start and end with slower speed and the rest with turbo.
