EDIT:  Had to activate the game.  Seems obvious, but I had to really dig for my key in my E-mail.  Didn't look like any of the other E-mails.  But that was the trick to it, apparently.

For the mouse mode push F2 then u can use the mouse the whole time.

I've recently started a new game in 0.75, and I'm currently on the Time to Dig mission, but one of the mission goals is
Spoiler (hover to show)
This wouldn't be that much of an issue to complete, except
Spoiler (hover to show)
Am I missing something?

You get it at the meteor site when you mine iron you'll get some tin in there with coal and  copper a times.  It isn't something you can find on the mineral scanner and mine individually.

I found the tin! Problem was, the concentrations of copper in the crater were too low for me to get any tin; I had to dig into an area nearby the crater which, according to my scanner, was rich in copper in order to find high-enough concentrations of copper in order to get the tin I needed.

Wasn't there an alternate setup from the default for a controller in the last version? I remember preferring that but I can't seem to find it in this one.

I don't love the default controls on the controller or really kb/m for that matter. They feel odd and counter intuitive to me with the turning of the camera right left up and down goes way too fast both on mouse and controller for me. I can't seem to find tune it.

Maybe I'm missing something somewhere?

What the F key is suppoused to do? its like going back tot he old way, and a way to get my mouse back but i cant really control the character well while under it because it cant turn around., it will just go in 4 directions.

I really do think the UI needs to be the first thing to revamp once they get some more staff on board.  I've tried alpha games before where the UI was so bad it frustrated me and i just stopped playing it never went back.  It has to be something natural for people so that it isn't an issue and they are focused on the game instead of figuring out how to do stuff.

F is for free camera. F2 is to toggle camera modes between follow and 3rd person (which should have been default). In follow mode, holding TAB will show mouse pointer.

Guys, what about the old shop shortcut (Alt+B)? We are not able anymore to buy stuff directly from anywhere? That was a lot of help and timing save  :'(

They said it was being removed in this version. I did notice small white icon for store in top right side of screen in adventure mode.

Right, OK, first thing you need to do in the game is to inform the camera controls, maybe on the loading screen?


BTW, i updated the catalysts from 13.12 to 14.2 Beta and i got a FPS increase. 27/28 to 31/32 after loading a specific savegame.
