Raider - Dune 2000 color panel

Raiders are three-wheeled vehicle equipped with 20mm dual Heavy Machine Guns and  lightly armoured for quick strikes and recon purposes. It is manoeuvrable and most effective against unarmoured vehicles.

Color panel and Name is a winks to the old STR game "Dune 2000". In reality I haven't start this vehicle for this purpose but because it remenber me good times, I change my mood. It is heightened because of collision problems. And it has more aggressive and different design. It only look like a raider or a trike if you see it from above.  I keep my original color pannel who look better for later so wait and see.

I tryed to reproduce desert camo color by making my own textures and bumps, but because I a nub of Gimp I don't reach the same ones :p

Right now I 'm pretty sure that using decals has textures is more ressource eater than just but using voxels of color. Even using painting option eat ressource, but less than decals, very painfull for laptop and lower computer setting...

Thanks :) It's a me bunch of work for a so little vehicle, especially cockpit's decal and smooth angles. I'm just sad because I can't do better textures/ bumps with this desert color...

Notice the inner of the vehicle is empty and if you think it is weak in defense, it is possible to fill it with 60 % more materials for more defenses and speed won't decrease (I have already test it).

Very well thought out XxIcarusxx. Leaving room for changes and improvement was a good idea , specially with the 0.8 out.(Bata)

Great job, I have been treating the materials editor like a black hole, but after seeing what you accomplished.  Well I guess it is time to hit the books and start learning.  Thanks for sharing a great model.

I really want to reupload it but there is something weird with the actual game physic that make it explode after 1~2 minutes of use  :P . Also, this is not the kind of bug that can be corrected by using editor.

So reuploading it is just pointless with an issue this big, sorry  :-[.

Yea, I already find it in workshop and tested in build mode. It seems to have balance problems, frontal part takes too much damage on bumps.
