adventure mode red dots
« on: March 16, 2014, 08:48:45 PM »

As it says in the sig line - what are they? I keep going to them and almost always encounter something nasty and dangerous, but sometimes nothing at all. Never found anything of interest even scanning for minerals.

I believe those indicate boss locations.

In multiplayer adventure, the red dots always seem to spawn a spaceship. In single player adventure it seemed as if they didn't spawn anything, until I encountered a robot at the red dot location.

They spawn Any Boss Level creature.

Included in this are bosses found in story mode and unique bosses to adventure mode.
-Giant Robot
-Giant Flying Robot
-Red Korona
-Blindatillo
-Layerback.

I have seen these mobs spawn on the Red Dots of multiplayer map
