moving parts
« on: May 04, 2013, 11:15:35 PM »

is there a way to move chunks of my design, like, lets say i have a vehicle, design like this, with X being the wheel, and V being the cockpit of the "bike"

x----------V---------x

And I want to take out some of the space in between, and then move the wheel up, is it possible to do so?

You can move the mirror planes so the voxels are placed in different places. You cant move whole sections of voxels though. Which is a shame as if you make some that doesn't look in proportion you have to delete that section and redo it all.

ugh, i must be sleep deprived, with my ability to explain what I'm trying to do. Lets try another ASCII graphic.

X-------========V----X

So, lets say my bike looks like that, and i think the backend is too long. I know i can select and delete the = sign parts, but i want to select and move the x---- part. Possible? I'm starting to think its not.
