This game definitely deserves the attention. I also been seeing my friends list fill with new comers to this game. Getting all positive feedback.

hello..

trying to make an indoor farm. but already having issues with spiders spawning inside my building >.>
will lights fix this? if so, does anyone have pictures of roughly how far apart they should be?(as creambulb lights don't appear to shed much light)

Well,... I need what?
400 hydrogen per fuel cell type 4....
that's 400 water... meaning 200 times PER fuel cell gathering water.

im making 6(1200 water) of these and im leaving my character on with a weight on the mouse so it isn't too bad.... but needs to be an easier way to do this... of the the vehicle suggestion threads suggests a Pump, sounds good to me.

in the meantime, I am gonna check some shops

I am sure someone said that no saves from one version of this game will work with another version of the game.... so forgive me if the answer is still the same.

I was playing thru the .8 update so I could revise and update my steam review and the .81 rolled out much sooner than anticipated.

I got cut off WAY short...
The question is simple,... is .80 saves compatible with .81? And if it is, will there be any significant change that I miss by continuing the existing save?

If the save is ruined, I will start from scratch willingly and without complaint. But I am hoping to not have to.
(Note, using someone elses pre-save is not an option)

Can we get an option to increase the dialog size?
my eyes have been hurting from playing too much PE... and I now realize its because of the reading and small text. I have a TV for a monitor so its not a small screen.. but I don't sit inches from the screen and the text is still small even on this.
That and I fear my eyesight is failing early in life. This feature would my my gameplay much easier.

Planet Explorers Bugs / Colony raid continues endlessly

Playing on .80- have a base with no colonists, and three turrets

I started a colony and went off to do Ada's missions... suddenly I got the preptime counter on my screen, so I fast traveled back to base.
The timer reset... so I laid my defences and waited, the kill counter read 0/6 for all of 10 seconds(in which it read I killed 2 before disappearing)... there was no kill/timer counter and no threat. So I left.
The timer starts immediately after having left. So I come back rinse and repeat.

I made sure to sweep the area twice, even tho the counter faded. Same result.
currently stuck in an endless loop and debating just letting the base fall.

EDIT: I have worked around the issue by using aircraft more actively instead of fast travel. I keep having a circle radius thing around my location on the map that wont go away, which is weird and I don't know what that's all about other than it has something to do with the colony raid being bugged. But while traveling like this, no new monsters continue to attack the base and the counter doesn't keep showing up.

how do I get my follower to eat? I gave him food but he just looked at it... his hunger reset on death from an enemy, but I'd like him to actually eat.

something I would like to see is more attention to smaller wildlife... we get a huge variety of, well rather huge creatures.

but no small ones really.
On earth we have scorpions, some species of which can poison and kill a human.
A rattlesnake bite can lead to death anywhere from half a day to two days if not treated.

outside of poison, theres some really vicious small animals out there. maybe a swarm of rabbit sized predators?
And then the addition of locust like insects could be interesting as well.

I just started my .80 playthru,... and first thing I did obviously was seek out the fabled animal feces. See this is a must have item where I am from!

*cough* anyhow, I was chopping wood and suddenly was attacked but 5 of those lizard things. The ones you immediately look for to kill right in the beginning of the game because they are easiest and closest, you know the ones.

yea,... randomly got attacked by 5 of the suckers, killed one and the rest ran off.
This one is completely new on me, and the randomness of the occurance has me hoping for more cool stuff like that. Is this a feature of this or past versions to make this possible(smart A.I./scripting) or was I just lucky?

So whats planned for multiplayer exactly?

atm we cant built bases(like the ones in story mode I mean, with assembly and stuff) and theres no real progression or difficulty as 5-10 minutes in a mine gets you enough meat to shopbuy everything you need and the best of it. Even if you ignore shopbuy, it's really not that much more challenging or more importantly 'interesting'

I had a friend just recently buy this and we played thru lan. The game handled great over lan but we were overwhelmed with a great sense of emptiness and lack of anything to really do.
I have played multiplayer a few times in the past and this same issue has always been apparent but never really struck home till playing with my friend.

Now before some person reads into this and gets on a high horse. Yes, it is alpha and this sort of thing is completely expected, we both realize this to the fullest extent, and none of this is meant as a complaint- my post is simply an inquiry to the future of multiplayer.
So what do we have to look forward to?

Maybe im just being a tard.... idk, I got an update today, and looking at the launcher it states
Current Version: Alpha 0.763
Latest Vesion: Alpha 0.761

how is my current version higher the the newest available? lol
see'ing the other threads, 0.763 actually is the latest version as well, so its being weird.

Planet Explorers Bugs / ISO created vehicle disappears on repair table

So I left my broken land vehicle to be repaired at my colony, came back and got it fully repaired. So then I left my air vehicle on the repair tab... come back and its gone. It's not in my inventory, my storage, the repair tab... no where. It's gone. No idea what causes this.

In case anyone has the thought process of computer resources capping: PE uses like 10% or less processing power for me, and memory usage is only at 30%.

EDIT: Sudden thought.... I had the recycler going to with a silver bow I was done with... I never got the resources back from that either.
I suppose the coding between recycle and repair could've gotten mixed up? I wasn't using it for the land vehicle, which I still have after repair, so its a possibility?

Just want to take a moment to say thank you Pathea staff for making it so I no longer hit water automatically when mining downwards to sea level. I can now get petroleum deposits without drowning. Just discovered this change so not aware of how long its been like this lol

out of curiousity, I dug a tunnel over to the ocean, then watched the water flow in.... made my day. So much better like this as opposed to the old stuff. These simple things go a long ways and I am not quite so sure why I enjoy the new water physics so much but I do :)

Planet Explorers General Discussion / New character creation options

I know this one is probably on the backburner atm.
I have a friend asking if there are any more character options planned for creation. The obvious answer is yes, as there are placeholder options(that are blank) for them.

But I was curious of anyone has a timeframe idea of when that might happen. Maybe not even a timeframe but, "After we get this and that" or "It's next up", or "might be a long time yet". Better than the no info I have to share with him atm, lol.
