Planet Explorers Multiplayer / Re: Dedicated Server for 0.84?[marked]
« on: September 26, 2014, 04:00:36 PM »
Since updating to .84 it seems dedicated servers won't show up in the master server list for us.
Anyone else having this issue?
Server seems to be running properly, just doesn't show up in the list.
All ports properly forwarded/opened, as it's one server on a public IP with no private IPs.

Same issue here, I believe -batchmode removes the GUI and console completely which is okay, but makes it where you can't see if there is a certain error.

Planet Explorers Multiplayer / -batchmode issue for servers?
« on: June 21, 2014, 07:00:43 PM »
Since the last update, the servers no longer show in the master list and can not be joined using -batchmode.
Using appid 237870 for the files, and the program seems to load without any errors and stays running.
My only guess is something is mismatched between the PE_Server version, and the client version.

Planet Explorers Multiplayer / Re: Server defaulting to Lan
« on: April 01, 2014, 07:13:31 PM »
Just  little question.... is it really a LAN server or can other ppl still connect to it via the internet. Beause if u host a server on ur own PC within ur own network, u have to connect to it via LAN but others connect to it via internet. So check if others can sill see the server andjoin it in the lobby. If they can't then sumthing is indeed wrong.

If they are trying to have others from outside the LAN connect + people from inside the LAN connect, without using Hamachi, I know of a bug that can happen.
The program will "bind" to just either LAN only or Internet only, and the private IP will no longer work(or the other way around).  You can try connecting to the public IP instead at that point, but may not work.
Only an issue with NAT.
