Number code placeholders instead of text

well simply started the game on steam. after loading everything the main menu pops up just as usual but instead of the text on each main menu button theres just a number code ranging von 10000 - 10006. i already tried the option "verify integrity of gamefiles" option in the propertys of the game in the steam libary. no change at all. even reinstalling the game didnt help at all. still the same output. as i clicked a little through the number codes, it appears that the other menu parts are also nothing more but number codes aswell ingame, everything besides names are just numbercodes as if the text is completely missing.

here are some screenshots i took to show my problem:

Hi,  can you try to delete the "i18n.db" file under “Steam\steamapps\common\Planet Explorers”, and verify the game integraty in Steam?

If that doesn't work, plz report here.

Hi, this server has been started due to crash. Unfortunately, saves are not kept.

Sorry for any inconvenience.

Planet Explorers Bugs / Re: Bug - a load of typos
« on: March 20, 2018, 09:32:43 AM »
these typos can be frustrating when making your own materials, it doesn't exist in one place, its in almost every place, and restarting the game or even the pc wont sort the problem out, so the issue is big. Here's the example i took

Please fix

also this is in demo

Hi, thanks for reporting this bug. Will inform the devs with this.

Moved issue to bug tracker.  Problem is with corrupted auto save for everyone on that particular server (Official Survival_Ad2_Skill).  No character progress is saved.  Server needs to be reset or specifically fix the auto save function.

[EDIT: this seems to be fixed with the server reset.]

Thanks for reporting. Will inform the devs with this issue.

Would be nice if we could set names to each of the 3 storage containers in the colony to better identify them.

I would also like to see more storage container options for the colony with the ability to filter what types of items get deposited in the containers.
For example;
  • A medical cabinate or locker where only medical supplies are stored.
  • A food pantry or freezer where only food items and ingreadients are stored.
  • Other types of general storage lockers or chests with filter options where they can be set to stor anything or be set ot only accept certain items.
    • General Storage Chest
    • General Storage Drum
    • General Storage Wall Locker
    • General Storgae Cabinate

Perhaps a storage coponent for the creation system so players could design thier own types of storage containers for the colony.

The ability for the colony machines to pull resources from colony storage to complete tasks such as building items, repairing, or enhancing items.

Thanks for the suggestions, will pass them to the devs.

Planet Explorers Suggestions / Re: little help to translators
« on: March 16, 2018, 07:43:33 AM »

I'm translating the game into Spanish and I have a problem. In Spanish to say the same thing as in English we usually use more words, so the translated text is longer and sometimes it does not go where it will be shown and to test it in the same game the English text of the replicator "High Capacity Laser Rifle Handle "appears only as" High Capacity Laser Rifle Hand "because it is very long. I can not imagine if they wanted to translate it into Quechua. Which is even longer. Could they do something like shrink the text when that happens?

Thanks for doing that.

I guess as long as the text are comprehensive, the decision is yours. Keep it up!

EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+ is my graphics card, haha. Doubt it can't handle Portia.

and to answer Omidawn, it is showing the desktop with the black box in the corner. And there is an icon on the taskbar but it just puts me "in" the black box.

haven't played in a couple weeks so I don't know if it's still happening.

Yes, your graphics card can totally handle MTaP.

Can you double check whether this problems still exists and possibly get back to me? If not, then great. If it's still there, we shall try to figure out what went wrong.

Also, I am wondering did this problem happening after the game running for some time, or at launching, or both?

Okay, I fixed it. You just have to exit the game completely and restart. It works now.
Great to hear you've got fixed!

I was wondering when and what will they implement with the next update.
Do they have a roadmap or something of the sort?

Hi, we'll be releasing a preview for the next update soon, so keep an eye on Steam page :)

My Time At Portia Suggestions / Re: Multiple Commission Option
« on: March 05, 2018, 09:56:39 AM »
The Commerce Rules state that you may only have one commission per day.  Think of it as being an anti-trust/anti-monopoly law.  That doesn't prevent you from making and stockpiling resources for future commissions, or from selling extra production to the stores for extra money (or to produce items for gifts).  I think the intent is for you to use any spare time you have to do other things: hunting/looting, fishing, quarrying, exploring, dungeoneering, digging for relics, socializing... there is a lot to do and very little time to do it in.  If you are only doing commerce commissions, you are missing out on other aspects of life in Portia.

Don't worry about Higgins... you will catch up to him eventually, especially if you get to the board before him every day.  I like that he now seems to only do commissions M-F... he used to do commissions on Saturday too.  That makes it a little faster to get to the #1 slot and hold onto it, since you have 2 extra days per week that you can use to surpass him, and not have to worry about getting to the board at 8AM to get the best commission.
Yes, exactly

My Time At Portia Suggestions / Re: Skill Point Reset
« on: March 05, 2018, 09:43:18 AM »
yes, that's it!  It's not that obvious, so maybe ok to leave it here for reference.  If you visit the clinic and ask Phyllis for acupuncture treatment (900 gols) it will reset your skills.  :D

Yeah, I also think leaving for a reference would be better  :)
